Holywell School is a Church of England Academy of around 600 pupils aged 9 – 13.

We are a Christian community where unique individuals can develop spiritually, morally, intellectually and emotionally and work together to release their talents.  We are an inclusive school and we strive to support all children to enable them to make the best possible progress and achieve well in a happy environment.  To accomplish these aims, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum with high quality teaching.  We provide effective support for children with special educational needs and disabilities, starting from our first contact with parents and carers and the lower schools when a child enters our school.

We ensure that a child’s needs are identified early and we offer a range of provisions to accommodate those needs.  These needs can be met internally but also externally, where necessary, with the involvement of other professionals, e.g Educational Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists.
